Next VSP or large scale restructuring is imminent. Hearing chatter around 2Q/3Q 2026. Makes sense with Frontier acquisition closing but too close to past 2024. So may not be a VSP and just restructuring 🤔

@a5 fwiw, after the VSP in 2018, I didn’t think that the next VSP would be until 2033 the earliest. Then the 2024 VSP happened. Not sure how many people thought, back in 2019, or even later, that the next VSP would be in 2024. Thinking that number is small. So there is that.
My predictions:
VSP: maybe 2026, a BIG maybe
RIFs? Yes
Succession plan (aka VZ 3.0) starts in 3 - 5 when Hans hits 65. Sampath will announce VSP in chipmunk voice.
I would prefer next month.
I'll take either. Not sure I can survive the stupidity. May just quit first. My health is more important than money
We have these VSPs ---people take the package, grab the money and then come back as contractors ---it happens time and time again------Facilites Operations has many who have done this---some don't know when to quit --they work remote, are not as accountable and some are even in their mid 70s --- retire already give the rest of us a chance
Don’t expect anything until after next year’s strike.
Assuming they’re d-mb enough to walk.
Four weeks with no associate pay will give the company a real financial shot in the arm.
VSP? Good luck with that. Layoffs are what's coming next.
Forget about VSP for a few years....and prepare for the yearly October festivities....
OP - the chatter you heard is come from your dream talking to yourself
well said - to which I would add "always more and more speculations and less and less authentic rumors"
every day it's a new rumor of which none posted in here come true
Master of the obvious!!! Of course there will be a restructure post Frontier acquisition.... VSP is not likely, more of a RIFF based on duplicate functions.
c'mon lucky 7
With VZ, you got what you got and that’s all you got. No VSP, that won’t happen until 2030 at the earliest. RIFs a plenty until then.
Vsp? No. Layoffs? Yes.
