It is sad that this company is continuing to lay people off. Another 20k after the 15+k in late 2024. I am glad I left with my 1 million ( severance, stock acceleration, sabbaticals payout, vacation payout). I cannot imagine Intel could afford to many more of these?

Exactly. Intel paid us 1+ year worth of salary to leave. From 2024 to 2025, a year has passed and Intel is still doing layoffs. The whole company has the only 1 project to layoff people, instead of moving forward. The industry is leaving Intel 10+ years behind.

It's an IQ test, the best know when it's time to go, and the best get paid more.
Every company does but in our case these employees and managers should be paying back to leave
