Good Attorney ??

I have been abused at Ford and been asked to work crazy hours without the compensation and would like to report this abuse and get some help!
I am Visa and want to get my best shot at the first time as my life is at stake!! at the same time I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
So, please give your best Attorney's suggestions!!

What abuse? If you are an exempt employee, the company can push you as much as they want without paying OT. And as an At Will employee, you can quit when you get fed up with it. If you are so desperate for a job (or Visa) that you were willing to put up with it, that's on you.

I would feel better if Ford goes bankrupt to be honest. It will prove their immorality and real worth. Blaming du-sh ba-gs above LL5 is tiring, id--ts care about paychecks only. The best way to start is to have a political connection with the White House. Anyone ?
Place 50% tariffs on all Ford products due to human outsourcing to India. Then the rest will take care internally. The sc--um will consume itself with no deliveries and timelines.

It is pointless to get an attorney. All Ford will do is make up lies about your bad performance and it will be your word against Ford. Ford will win. You will end up being fired on a made up reason. It is easier to get a new job while still employed so apply at other places and just quietly move on. Don’t go to your exit interview. Nothing good will come of that if you complain.

Lay offs were selective , not random , if you analyze who was sweeped and from where. In some particular places , it was a bunch of people from the former LL6 / LL5. The was no age selection criteria, more like a bias from LL4 / LL5 real ba-s-rds. They prepared for it for weeks. I hope this helps you. About the abuse, some people were laid off as contractors , rehired , and laid off again.The company has no morales. You will see the same people all the time - untouchables. In my understanding, Sha--ref was in India to sign a contract and outsource software there. Whoever spoke Indian were leading lay offs to achieve the head count reduction. Now is leading Indian team to replace us. They lay offs also focused on vested 401k , they made sure that they could reduce it by laying off new engineers. It was intentional. Note that only a few 9 months max Severance were laid off.

@aa I contributed to a critical component of the vehicle software. The one that is essential for production deployment. Due to the complexity of this work, finding a suitable replacement for a new development won't be straightforward. Its their loss and I will move forward. Never Ford again.

This is my second reply here. Move on with your life—apply to other OEMs, switch industries, or consider relocating. Many who left Ford are now in a much better place. It takes time and preparation to land your next role, so stay focused on your next milestone instead of dwelling on the high-ranking id--ts at Ford. Their time will come—I can assure you of that with absolute certainty.
It will start with LL5 & LL4 - to LL1 within 1.5 year. You will hear in the news and smile. God is there.

Same here. I stayed up all night pushing to deliver FNV4, only for some clown to announce its cancellation. I want to see those clowns brought to their knees. The whole thing was organized 1 months before lay offs, with LL4/LL5 id--ts sniffing around to select who they do not like. They didn't care you were new and you delivered. They didn't care that you didn't have opportunity to start 3-4 years ago like them who got promoted from previous lay offs.
