I hope that the "interims" do what is expected and mandate a return to the office worldwide during our next update meeting. Remote work is not working it is ripe with slackers, child care, housecleaning, not paying attention in meeting, constantly away in teams. Where are these people, not being here now. RSI data will show the true value of their work, we don't need them.

Well, I guess I can drive to the office early enough to join the 7am meeting to train the folks in Low Cost geos.
But I see how it's of interest to Corporate that US remains WFH so they can continue shifting all these positions overseas. After all, they can be done remotely anyways.
The EUV steppers want to return to office??
Perhaps the company would be better off without people who use poor grammar and punctuation.
/ enforce the 'return to the office' paradigm across the industry to boost the profits from their commercial real estate investments.
truly and obivous.
You keep writing this same story about RTO--clearly you either don't know what you talking about or you aren't an employee and looking for reactions. Assuming you are on Pacific time, you wrote this post at 9:00 a.m.--shouldn't you have been working?
Going back to office, like kindergarteners ... Even if you are in the office, in one room, what are you going to do instead of talking? The evil managers will control everyone. Everyone go back to office to pat the managers?
This is the Layoff board.
I think you’re mistaking it for the Return To Office board.
Fu-k off! Nobody cares what you want looser.
looks like Blackrock-ridden board of directors hired a media company to troll fora with their propaganda to
1/ distract us from the real reasons why Intel is failing - clueless BoD
2/ enforce the 'return to the office' paradigm across the industry to boost the profits from their commercial real estate investments.
Subject has been discussed ad nauseam.
Slackers are slackers whether working at home or in the office. If slackers are at the higher up positions, they attract more slackers.
@a5: whoa slow down there cowboy! Our culture of fear and su-king up doesn’t need another layoff to get reinforced and keep doing what it does. OP is right that IO is “good enough” to keep it strong
You refute yourself
RSI data will show their true value
This is why layoffs and not WFO are what is required. There’s not futzing around with people who don’t want to work. Just eliminate them
Beyond that Intel’s worst decisions, the decisions that caused this catastrophe, were made IO. IO is worthless and distracts from what we must really do to solve our problems.
