@a5 I am just a lowly contractor without the ability to affect much around here. A year and a half into a 30 month contract and was hoping to be converted to permanent at some point. Now, not so sure. If I make it through the next round of contractor layoffs, which if what I'm hearing is accurate, will be sooner than later, I'm conflicted on staying somewhere people have this kind of thing to look forward to on a regular basis. Somewhat traumatizing to see people being cut like this as if it's just part of doing business.
