I am frustrated regarding the company's return-to-office policy with a disparity in its application. Employees are required to be in the office at least four days a week, with consequences for non-compliance, while some Directors are permitted to work from home. I know three Directors who work remotely, one of whom was recently hired back to Ford, with the other two working in Chicago and California. The upper management should lead by example and adhere to the same policies, advocating equal treatment and respect for all employees.

Rules for thee, not for me.
@aj Perhaps they are too busy getting laid and never get around to the off? Maybe they are good at getting both??
@by True, I suppose it is easier to waste time at home than it is in the office.
Maybe because they are actually doing their job at home?
Because they are from silicon valley and they know how to
1l lick it well and keep boss under control
2) take stocks, bonus and enjoy big talk
3) scrap projects in the middle blame it on you and fire you
Keep repeating 1 - 3 until they find a new place to go do same sh-t
Because they are not classified/ viewed as a typical GSR employee/peon.
Agree, I would appreciate at least one, just one top executive be held responsible and thrown out fired for any of the numerous bad decisions that have directly caused Ford to lose millions if not billions.
And FLV don't count, he sc--wed himself.
That was what grinded me. I am fine with RTO if the rules apply consistently. But we had a top C suite exec who repeatedly spoke about the need for collaboration and days later hires 2 top level management that are remote in the PST time zone.
I wish they'd realize the worker bees are the ones holding things together.
Ask another question, why these directors and chiefs never get laid off ? ? ? Are they really better than others ? Sp-t into their face !!!
Any senior management have their own offices and not subject to hoteling. At town halls senior management should be truthful and cite the book Animal Farm that "all animals are created equal...but some are more equal than others."
Because worker bees are only pawns in game of life.
@a4 Yes. There is a reason they have stickers on their laptop regarding fields they pretend to know. It is because they are better.
If all you do is answer emails and take meetings, what does it matter where you are? This applies to all level of workers. When I go into the office, on occasion, I am less effective due to people stopping at my office to chat because I haven't been in for a month or two. And then I have to be rude to some because THEY won't leave!! So unless you have to be there to keep the thumb on others, stay home.
Directors are better than you.
Did everyone see the article about the woman, beauty queen dancer, that lives in Florida, works from home?
So I agree, WTAF?!?
Employees are slaves as per ford and they don't not have special a-s as directors have. So we have to come
