Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Can't land foundry customers.

First lets address how ridicules it is for Intel to think its competitors will ever use Intel fab to make their chips while Intel is still in the highly completive product business. Second: Every time we were late to market and/or put out a product that was less than advertised and/or decided we would need a socket changes without considering the needs of the OEMs. All of the "We know what's best" and "Were so big we can do what we want" It is all coming back to bite us in the a-s! Little secrete...Nobody is going to use Intel foundry. Ever. Why? Because we are A-s-Holes. Deal With It!

Those customers haven’t yet been made aware that our CEO was a power forward. They’ll fall in line.

Intel is too big to fail. Uncle Sam will step in and ask TSMC to do some joint venture with Intel so that US will have latest tech node.

The TSMC Troll is getting increasingly distraught at the notion of having any competition.

Best advice I can give a potential Intel Fab customer: If your going to try Intel foundry, get everything in writing so you can sue WHEN your product is late or defective.
