What’s the risk for those with big amount of SERPLUS we are going BK. As non qualified you have an unsecured claim on Intel assets!

Intel cutting fat is a good sign. Those who have not retired need to leave quickly and trigger SERPLUS. If you want to work, go work at another company. SERPlUS is likely safe for those who triggered it.
@b3 it is an investment benefit available to grade 10+.
“Retire” and start collecting it if you can!
WTF is SERPLUS?
People who took SERPLUS basically gave Intel an unsecured loan instead of taking pay. Who would have thought that there was a bankruptcy risk with Intel. I have been retired for a number of years but am still owned a significant amount of SERPLUS. In a way I have a lot more of vested interest in seeing the company prevail that the current and ex employees that come on here and spew hate.
Personally the thing that gets me is the bad strategic decisions, lackluster hiring and stock buy backs that squandered a 100B in investment capital which would come handy at this point.
@a4 …They played a key role in employing you probably much longer than you deserved!
Intel isn’t going bankrupt just smaller and leaner
SERPLUS is only available to people who have played a huge role in getting Intel to this point. I hope you lose everything! Couldn't happen to a more deserving group of a$$holes.
I would not put sh-t into this and if you have stop.
“Unsecured” by definition means you’re lower down the totem pole and that you probably should consider retrieving what you can, NOW!
