I believed the "we're family" speeches until most of my team got axed. Now when my manager preaches job security, I just nod and make sure to update my resume. They'll cut anyone the second it helps the bottom line. Protect yourself first because the company always does.

Act like an owner... the stock su-ks and the comp is still lower than market. Lots of "you should be glad you have a job" energy these days.
Very sad that Cargill has become such a terrible company, carma will finally take them down. GREED, GREED AND MORE GREED,, sad that they have destroyed the rainforest, GREED and more greed..
@a4 illegal dei policies? The men running things are way more incompetent than anyone else. Who do you think ran CPNA and BOSC into the ground? Who do you think signed off on the d-mbest reorg of all time? They didn’t hire Hartsock cause she’s a woman, they hired her cause she’s as corrupt as the rest of them.

You can’t act like an owner when you have limited or no decision rights. When decisions, like the cost reduction, associated people choices and the communication of them are made at the top, how can someone act like an owner. What hypocrisy, act like and owner and do what I say. What a joke
Act like an owner they say. We are nothing like owners, its insulting. Why should we act like an owner when they fire us so easily and preach illegal dei policies as a way to get themselves ahead.
