@ar what are those eisp figures? Its always 10k or 50k plus 2200 a year of service.
The FCC ruling March 26 was a free ticket to shut down legacy switches and remove copper cable from the network. All that saved money could fund an eisp.

There are no buyouts coming. Not right now anyway.

@ar If they really want employees off the payroll by the end of June those EISPs would need to be in the mail very very soon. Also, the offer you mention does not seem to be overall as good as the usual EISP which has a $50k bonus plus $2200 per year of service.

yes a buyout is coming for the union in the northeast ,3k for every year of service,plus 15k they want 2k off the payroll by the end of june

Im hearing union chatter as well in regards to an offer. Not much intel right now. Told more to come next week.
