@e2 karma would be a bad case of rectal cancer to add to it
So sad to see what has happened to Wellmed...damn!
@a3 yep and when he’s done doing all their dirty work, they’ll get rid of him too! Karma anyone?
@bv PSU - patient support unit - at first was largely for completing coding attestations. I started my involvement about 3 years ago. About 2 years ago the focus was more and more on timely visits after discharge from hospital or ER visit, over 50 % of the visits. In addition our nurse practitioners were seeing walk in patients with acute illnesses for almost a year now.
Where exactly is GTX. Im also quality
are we cooked?
@bv In Quality we track HEDIS measures and CAHPS/HOS surverys for CMS.. datamining to close HEDIS gaps, educating practices on how to better their STAR score through these measures and such.
might be a d-mb question - what exactly does PSU mean? And what do you mean by quality?
@a2 Got a 830am meeting for 15m last night around 5:15PM, majority of my quality dept from Texas on the list, I think only a handful weren't on the email invite... managers have a meeting invite for 8am. Looks like they're doing to quality what they did to DataRAP, gut them to the bare minimum. Also started pushing a new position a few weeks, one per market that works aside PBMs, that encompasses RA, Quality and C&V, so I figured this was coming and that's our replacement. Do more with less.
Are all TX Wellmed clinics closed now? WellMed wanted to buy a dear friend's private practice years ago and I literally stood in front of the Wellmed frat boy salesman and said "Wellmed would destroy everything about this practice that you worked so hard to build for 30 years." Glad I said the hard things!
New CFO sure is getting comfortable kicking people to the curb. Anything to save a buck.
