Were you a high performer that got laid off?

got 2 high performer ratings for my 3 yrs with the company. I just switched jobs 6 months ago and was highly productive but was let go. I think it also has to do with if the higher ups like you.
Could the survey results have played a part in the choice of who was impacted?

similar, 26 years, always performing. Just could never bring myself to brown nose, no matter what

19 years leading 3-4 times, rest always performing
3 leading past 6 years
27 years - always performing - because in HR, the leadings are always the ones who they “like” - for those who they accept in “their click”

@a6 I feel great. Recently had an interview at a FAANG so hoping to hear back soon
25 years. 3 leading, the rest performing. We are not allowed to be leading because the number of leading ratings on every team is limited, so we take turns regardless of results.
I’m a low performing player & got a big raise and promotion. I’m glad my dad is the CEO.
