Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What Brought Verizon To This Point

Speaking strictly as a customer, Verizon's culture is 100% anti-customer.

Twice a year price increases...declining value for what paid...endless prompts to attempt to reach live help...nasty customer service reps...inflexiblility to address customer issues...hidden fees & charges...terrible website...repeated requests for security passwords...the list goes on & on!

TRUTHFULLY, this is way beyond blaming Verizon leadership. Some heads need to roll at every level to begin to root out a systemic anti-customer corporate wide culture!

My anecdotal experience has been that the 5G rollout had an effect on service, especially when they took down the 3G spectrum. Service got spottier, my family and friends noticed. And I'm sure raising prices on worse service didn't help. I also get numerous complaints about our offshored customer service, people just being handed off to others who don't resolve their issues.

The downfall began when Big V bought out Vodafone. A cabal of troglodyte dipsh-ts (VZB and VZT) thought they were the reason for the success happening in Wireless. VZW was successful in spite of B and T, not because of it. They gutted everything that made wireless great and turned it into a bloated, bureaucratic hellscape. F the Swedish Chef.

The amount of "leaders" who have absolutely no clue wtf they are doing is part of this..
The great layoffs of 2015 was the beginning of the end..
Putting Hans as CEO seems like it was intentional to destroy the company...m and taking this long to replace him?? Why did the board intentionally let Hans ruin the company.
Everything we did best is a thing of the past.
Everyone who knew what they were doing and cared about the company is gone..

They dont care though because they get to walk away from Verizon with millions of dollars.
F you Hans for destroying this company and messing up the lives of thousands of employees who are about to lose thier jobs while the guy who replaced you brings in his PayPa buddies and gives them millions.

It has always been this way. The network was so good, people ignored all the issues with price, CX, and on and on.

I don't think we are aligned, so lets have a call to align on this.

The deal with Infosys was the beginning of the end for Verizon.

Buzz off bro. People are losing their livelihoods. No one want to hear your complaints. Fill out a survey and beat it

@OP wrong. This is SQUARELY upon Verizon leadership. They have been repeatedly advised of heavy levels of customer dissatisfaction and it was denied every time citing "that's not what they see."
