EMRE attrition rate in the Fairfax to Houston move was 10%.
Clinton and Talent? I think you are confused. Those two do not go together.
@dq The attrition rate was much higher when moving from FFX. More like 60-70%.
@dd would have been more, but a lot got shuffled to wave 2. With wave 2 you will see the bigger fish walking. Some are being enticed with fancy new titles that come with big pay bumps.
Attrition is the goal. They want as many HC10 staff gone as possible. Win case is very narrowly tailored, you can't even bring up long term consequences in planning meetings without getting in trouble.
When Fairfax, Virginia moved to Houston in circa 2012, management expected a retirement/resignation percentage of 40%. The resignation/retirement percentage was 10%.
Many employees kept their house in Fairfax, moved to Houston and rented an apartment for several years until they reached 60 years old. At 60, you get 100% of your pension.
No, they want more people to leave.
Attrition for the 1st wave was much lower than expected. They were expecting 30 to 40%, but surprisingly only 10% left.
Could the word Texas have anything to do with it?
The first wave of employees moved in the summer of 2025 to Houston (mostly office-based employees). There have been quite a few NJ employees leaving the company for other careers. The annual NSI/PIP cycle is taking its toll on many Clinton employees especially PhD's.
The second wave of employees moving to Houston and Baytown is a larger group. The second wave of moves to Houston will be staggered and occur between 2026 and 2027.
@a3 serves management right for abusing us for so long.
I would bet money that the very people they are scared of losing have been ranked low for years for being technical people. What a bunch of BS. Don’t they have a HIPO who can do it better than is low ranked boomer losers?
Doesn’t really match with the prevailing narrative that boomers don’t add value and BTC can do everything.
Don't know about incentives, but the rest is 100% true.
Company will be losing a number of senior people and there is some panic coming from EMTEC leadership in Houston.
