why are you excited? The company wants to save $2B. That will come from workers like you. Save all that you can and plan for a rainy day. We are all expendable.
Can't get worse considering how terrible the leadership has been for the last couple of years. I often wonder where P+ would be if the head of that division had cared about anything other than his (lame) baby or where the company would be as a whole if the heads of each division hadn't been busy undermining each other (despite all of the backslapping and insistence on deep friendship) or the unhinged vacillations from Ms. Redstone. Delighted that the majority of the new leadership announced thus far is new. There is a ton of dead weight that has been shed but (fingers crossed) more to come.

the new people are not going to know anything. 2 possibilities: 1) they will choose to lead badly and follow their limited experience of running a tiny company that keeps talking about its succcesses that are really all based off paramount allowing them to participate/pay to be part of the game; 2) they will find actual business savvy people to figure out why the most recent paramount model is failing
Seeing everyone's excitement here is a nice note for me to go to sleep on. I have more te---r and dread than excitement, but, I know logically that maybe I wont be let go, I guess. Feels more likely to me that im being let go hence the dread, but I dont know for sure. Being excited sounds like a nice option. If some of yall are, why cant I be too?
I am excited for the new leadership as well and hopeful they will have experienced and knowledgeable leaders. I agree - leadership totally su-ks right now. Just can't wrap my head around how all these incompetent people made it up the chain of command to become Sr. Managers, Directors, Sr. Directors and VP? Every time we've undergone change, we've always gotten new leadership- and they were all pretty bad!!! They lacked knowledge, dignity, emotional intelligence and the likes (here's to you, CN!). As a team, we are experiencing low morale with team members not wanting to even log in and experiencing severe anxiety. Like a few other posts, we are hoping to be laid off as well because we are so miserable. Buuut, we are holding out for the new leadership with high hopes that everything will be better and we will once again enjoy working at this company...
@an also Oracle. He partnered with them for the AI/ML internal Conference. Oracle sponsored the Conference and another PARAMOUNT GLOBAL related event.

Change isn’t comfortable. I am excited, but I live paycheck to paycheck. I’m more concerned than excited. Keeping my head down and hoping “hard work pays off!”

I’m having an open mind and open heart wishing all the new leadership much success. If they succeed we succeed!!
I’m empathetic and not ignoring the fact that existing leaders and teams will be feeling the impact and change. I won’t deny that change su-ks!
But honestly I’m kinda excited reading the new leadership’s background. I want to move from feeling cr-ppy to feeling excited again.
