In SOME areas. Other areas have been drastically understaffed for years.
@a3+1jxt5bta6 there's so much waste and abuse going on at this firm most are getting paid for doing next to nothing. If Rick was smart he'd do a complete analysis and realize we can get by with less than 50% of the staff we have. I thought he was a McKinsey guy, where are the synergies?
It’s fairly simple. Wages don’t increase unless you get another job. Adding commute expenses means you’re working for less net. Inflation is likely close to your raise.
Unless workers grow a brain and collectively say enough, well, he who asks gets and he who doesn’t gets shafted.
When commutes were ten minutes and the job had to be in the office it may have been accepted for labor to be unpaid and going in on worker’s dimes. Today? Fool. Money. Parted. You’re just donating time to a multi-billion dollar profitable corporation that pays poor performing executives millions.
Don’t worry. You’ll be ok. Working in return for pay won’t ki-l ya.
