Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Time to reflect Mikey.!

The nearly 50% drop in eNPS is not just a metric; it’s the loudest signal of a broken people culture. Employees are not just anxious, they’re disengaged, disillusioned, and watching the soul of the company slip away.

Mikey stop hiding behind business justifications and begin owning the human cost of constant restructuring.

People culture cannot be patched up with town halls, platitudes or by sharing a lousy video recording of your CHRO reading from teleprompter.

MD has a serious GREED problem. He is no different than a hoarder, really: it's the same category of "dragon sickness" that Tolkien pointed to allegorically. It tends to make people extremely sly and mendacious, and MD holds those characteristics. It's very apparent when you're around him in person: he just exudes it when he speaks. He can't help it. He trips over his words as he calculates in real time what is most likely to keep that "number go up" thing happening he likes so well.

$125 billion. $125 BILLION.

He is an oligarch, plain and simple. Nobody, NOBODY came into that much money ethically.

Not. A. Single. ONE.

@OP As long as they can continue making money and have the stock go up, they aren't going to care one bit about the employees.

well it's not like dell can right the ship any more. dell in of itself is a company that is dying.
only way MD could have done something meaningful was to self-replace 10y ago.
