I was part of the RIF almost a year ago. I received a call from my old boss that he got the axe today.
He was a da*n good leader and Global will definitely be affected by it.
All the good people are gone while the people who doesn't even show up to meetings and takes 20 bathroom breaks stay in.

What city was your boss located? Details may help those around the world breathe or panic.
Praying for all but especially Columbus! Columbus is not full of comparable jobs especially if you’re 40 and up.
I was a part of HR and not a low performer but they cut me as a single position elimination. Until you know the person who lost their position and worried about their family don’t just think that we are all low performers. I just know that God has a plan for us and we will be good and the new company that hires us will have an AMAZING group of team members.

I was cut from TSYS issuing last August. Let me tell you. Its rough out there especially if you are trying to find a job in columbus. I had to relocate to Atlanta and it su-ks so bad. I pray for everyone losing their jobs. I see in the thread someone reported they are moving mainframe teams to india? If that's the case, I am saddened because I've got friends there in mainframe. Hope they will survive this until fis takes over. If fis takes over let's hope they dont operate like global payments. Global destroys everything in its path. Its the devil of corporate america. It came to steal, ki-l, and destroy.
