Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

How can this happen with no consequences.

How can 7 out of 10 people quit a group because it was impossible to work with their (New) manager and that manager is still employed.

3 doing the work of 10. What obviously followed was tons of issues, project deadlines constantly missed, lots of P1 tickets.
The remaining 3 are desperately looking for a new job.

How can management ignore that he is obviously the problem?

Damn, I thought this post was the compliance or the audit dept. Their turnover is wild.

Removed 70% of employees while paying $0 in severance? I think we found our new head of FIG! Fiserv's employee of the Month.

@OP not sure to your specific situation but something similar happened to me when I was a still a FiServant. Manager lost 4 people including myself within the year (this was back in 2025 for Output Solutions in Finance). One gal got fired, one gent left on his own accord, another went on FMLA and never came back, and I was lucky enough to find something better and moved on. Work got shifted around so much, the ones remaining took on the extra work load without extra pay and about a month after I left my old manager got the ax. Sooooo hoping something similar happens here too because it's justified.

But considering this is Fiserv the odds usually are never in the employee's favor...unless ur an SVP. Keep your head up FiServant, I hope you break out of the shackles soon enough

@a1 Those 3 remaining members can report the long pending P1 tickets to Pete C.

Ultimately it is that manager's responsibility to retain the talent and keep the clinet relations in good shape..

When 70% of the team quits, HE should NOT be the Manager ANY MORE.. he should be the eight one to leave.

A little more background. Long time manager retired. The new one got the group by default, because he had a low head count.

Didn't know the group.
Didn't know the technology.
Came in micro managing at a level ive never seen before in 25 years.

I'm glad I got out of there a while back. Genuinely shocked that he is still in charge.
