13 US Field Service personnel as well (1 manager, 1 Team Lead, and 11 FSE/FSAs), plus some service support personnel. Any recs for open positions were wiped. Rumors on the reduced workforce taking on more equipment.
Of course, they told us after the merger: “I wouldn’t worry about any reductions to Field Service; they need people in the field…”. Anyone with any experience with large companies laughed at that “reassurance”.

In Sparks Maryland it was ~ 60 people.

It was a total of 45 associates let go and out of the total 5 R&D associates from Molecular and Microbiology were let go from ADx in Sparks.
What severance package are BDB people receiving ?

Many people in Sparks let go today were 30+ years of service. Really sad.

I know two folks so far that have been let go this morning. Advanced Diagnostics.
@a1 :( I was actually feeling optimistic about the transition from BD to Waters (call me naive??). Have a good team, feel supported by said team, etc. But now so worried :(
