I think they are throwing the service reps a bone because there is no work from home provision or guarantee in the contract...also these folks are being skipped over by new hires for sst and opt titles...

I don't like the pot with a circumvent seniority New York and New England are going to be allowed 75 people to take jobs and the craft positions that are not craft meaning AA's service reps etc will get those bids over craft people who have the seniority and who are rated over them. They just won't be allowed to have them. I wonder what the unions motive was, why would you circumvent the one thing you tell us which is seniority is what everything goes by. Now they're saying no we're going to let these other groups take it over you and to me it just creates favoritism in the Union if they like the person they'll get them that job if they don't like them then maybe they won't it's total b***

CWA executives are just like corporate execs, they don't give a rat's a$$ about the workers, only their cushy jobs.

Union members should've revolted years ago.

Same old story, fat cats get fatter, everybody else suffers.

Less than 100$ a year for single and less than 200$ a year for a family increase on medical, is more than compensated by our raises. The last couple of contracts this was not the case.

@ac if we are going to just take what the company gives us because the union has no leverage, than there's no reason to keep the union.

@a1 you d-mb a-s. We don’t have any leverage over the company! Maybe take your head out of your a-s and actually look into the industry you work in!!

Cwa doesn't fight for us anymore. They only care that they've negotiated 4 more years of dues for their pockets.
