With the CEO coming in, will the union get a package or incentive to leave? I heard might be some movement or layoffs for some union members.

@a2… Why hans get gold vest? Why Dan get huge salary? Why shouldn’t they get a retirement package, I’m sure they’ve contributed much more than you.
@at what departments?

We are preparing documentation for training folks for a potential strike in 2026.
I suspect everyone is fair game.
@a5 EISP offered in MD as well last week.
The union agreed to let the company use a certain amount of contractors, but the stipulation is that the company must fire all contractor workers before they layoff 1 union employee. The contractors are cheaper labor and save the company a sh!t ton of money. So I doubt the company would even consider a union layoff.
Super Enhanced IPP would probably get a lot of people out the door, otherwise people in their mid to late 50's will stay until SS age or Medicare age.
There is an Eisp in NJ and PA. Both unions cwa and ibew. It is public on the internet for NJ. For the nonbelievers.
The problem is the people hired the last few years are not covered by the no lay off language.
@a1 Why union get gold vest?
Union won’t get layoffs, but some will probably get a package.
