How did you get your inconsistent rating?

Let’s all compare. Heard many of my colleagues got an inconsistent in performance even if they were remotely involved with FNV4.

I got told I don’t respond enough on Teams so my collaboration is an inconsistent. Unreal.

@b0 do it. Make them fire you for actual performance. Make them take the necessary precautions for disabilities and accommodations.

You think going in everyday and badging is going to solve any of the complex issues ford has? They will offshore your work to Mexico/latam in a heartbeat while blasting commercials about American exceptionalism.

This is a gross institution that is only as strong as its authoritarian ties going forward.

Unionize or shut up.

I got laid of and labelled as inconstant like 8 others under the same manager. I didn the work for 5 people ....
Be aware that you are on a hook to be laid off. Your LL4 marked you already.
Objectives is reduce the headcount by any BS labels.

Totally. How could anyone not improve on their managers Ford OS behavior directive of “collaborate more” or “increase impact” or “increase velocity” such clearly defined objective objectives are easy targets to hit.

I don't know why people think there wouldn't be consequences for missing objectives or not fulfilling job requirements. Do people think these are optional?

My LL4 (I’m an LL6) told us that he didn’t meet his objectives, so that meant his reports missed their objectives, he expected each of us to pass it on down. I gave all but one of my team an inconsistent and yes, I had to reach for reasons.

"End of day updates.." Really? Oh I would have let the clock run out on those and made them terminate me long ago. That's ridiculous. I'll stock shelves at Walmart before I send people daily updates. Sounds like a PIP to me. As for ratings? I just deal with it by giving zero F's. They can fire me if they want. But I'll make them do it unless something better comes along.

This is the playbook. I just went through it. Knock you for an inconsistent rating on your PR. They will then find any little incident that you do (in my case not participate in a daily slack stand up even though I told the team I was communicating with what I would be working on) and write a performance note to HR. Then a week or two later they will say they have not witnessed sustained improvement and put you on a PEP or offer severance. The PEP will be vague and unattainable. The rest of the team will ostracize you and prevent you from completing the tasks. Then they will terminate you for performance reasons.

They also will lie to HR in the process.

My LL3 would present AI slop like it was the Sistine chapel. I sat through full meetings where the focus was on made up words (literally the word did not exist). They sent their nepo hire to China to research/develop advanced tech meanwhile he didn’t even know what AAOS was. Had no idea what state management was and thought every UI state was displayed through if/then statements. Presented the most mundane and non-pixel perfect designs. Outsourced my work to Mexico. But yeah it’s probably not a leadership issue.

inconsistent = means you get laid off in 1-3 months. Clock is ticking. This is Ford's strategy to reduce the workforce. Inconstant for no reason - nobody bothers to find the root cause which is LL4s and up.

I got an inconsistent because my end of day updates were done after 5 PM that night instead of by 5 PM. They check time stamps to find the littlest excuses to peg you down.
