How have you made it this far in life without learning the lesson to not worry about something you can't control?

Well I just rub one out when I am feeling down and then all becomes well.

@OP, I know it’s stressful to face the possibility of a layoff. I actually got my notice this morning, so I understand the worry. But I’m holding on to this truth: What may have been intended against me, God is working for good. I’ve seen before how God can take hard moments and turn them into something better than I expected, and I believe He can do the same for you.

Let it go, do not keep it for a long, 2-3 days max. You are just a number. On your next corporate endeavor you know it will be the same.

If you’re US based, you’re more than likely good. All notifications I have heard across multiple orgs (CX, Eng, PMs, etc), were all impacted and notified this morning. Other countries may have different labor laws, so perhaps they haven’t been notified yet.

TLDR - If you still have a job, you should sleep pretty comfortably tonight.
