This is a critical earnings as the first quarter entirely under LBT. If we turn a GAAP profit (for the first time in three years) it will speak well of his visionary leadership. If not… then $18bn in revenue would be a pyrrhic victory and we could start talking about “the inevitable”. If LBT has abandoned Pat’s moribund plan we should turn GAAP profit and crush the shortsellers.
