I called each auto center to see if they are still open. I also asked each one if they were closing, most said no. Also note that some stores are closing but there auto centers are not.

Really sorry to here that ! I work for Sears for 10 years . And work at West Covina , lungs hills, And we did a great job . Both business were about 18 bay store . They were always busy. Service a lot cars and trucks. Made great money for Sears

Eddie Lampert dismantling sears to line his pockets any way possible.

I bumped it in case someone is looking for a tire machine or vehicle lift.

Sears Auto at Sunrise Mall in Valley Stream, NY is closing. All the shop equipment is listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

Update: Sears Auto in Chicago Ridge, IL is closing in late March. Also the Sears Auto in Thornton, CO is not closing.

Auto doesn't have 6 DMs

So why aren’t they closing the auto centers at Orange, CA, Mesquite, TX, or Silver Spring, MD? That seems odd to leave them up at this point.

The part I don’t understand is with 26 auto centers left why do they still have 6 district managers. Back in the day my dm had 22 stores now they each have 3 or 4. Sears just loves to waste money.
