Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

royalty cheats

Got some buddies out in Loving co. who keep saying their check stubs haven't looked right ever since all this news on royalty underpayments came to their attention. I'm sure all these operators try to pull a quick one on the rightful landowner, but this Devon regime has CHK vibes

Call our office phone at 713-655-7000 to discuss. Ask for Blake or shoot me an email at bashford@gelbercorp.com.

Perhaps Devon's analysts are just sh-t at their job and can't hedge their price contracts. But the $/bbl on their check stubs are on average a dollar less than XTO and EOG in the region. I've collected pricing data from roughly 100+ wells producing from the same formation and within close proximity. Nearly every month the price we get is lower than other operators. The same goes with gas prices as well.

Have they checked their diversity, equity, and inclusion scores recently? It's possible TC has penalized them and docked their woke points. Women and beta males shouldn't be in the oilfield. That's when this all went downhill. That and when everyone hired their Texas AM and OU buddies.
