Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Don't cancel your Chevron Life Insurance. Sell your life insurance policy instead!

Did you know that you can sell all or part of a life insurance policy you no longer need or no longer can afford? It is called a life settlement. And it provides you with the opportunity to sell all or part of an unneeded life insurance policy for cash you can use any way you want. Contact Coventry Direct at www.CoventryDirect.com and get more information.

If you were recently laid off at Chevron, look into getting some money for your life insurance policy if you plan to cancel it. Remember that Chevron provides you for free, a basic life insurance policy worth 2-years of annualized pay. This policy is through MetLife. After leaving the company, MetLife gives you the opportunity to continue coverage at your expense or to cancel it. However, this is a reminder that you may be able to get cash for it by selling it to Coventry Direct. Please look into it.

@H1H1pQ0-javi, Thank you so much buddy. As long as I don't have to go with the guy spamming this thread with his Covet spam or whatever they are called. There's no way in a million years that I would let myself get raped up the butt like the guy that keeps posting on this thread and pushing the company who reams people. It's bad enough that we got laid off, I don't want to add insult to injury by clicking on spam and getting scammed by some corrupt company.

@jlea, just review the list of top life settlement providers at www.lisa.org. Each listed company has been vetted by the Life Insurance Settlement Association.

Can someone on this thread please recommend a company to get my Life Insurance Pay-out with that is NOT the company above? I want a real company, not some Scam. I would prefer to stay away from the one being pushed so hard by the trolls on this thread because there is evidently some controversy surrounding them and they are not on the up and up. I would prefer to steer far and wide from the company mentioned in the OP. There are many more fish in the sea to have to deal with potential scammers, whether they are or not, I don't care and I'm not claiming that they are. Thanks in advance.

I am the retiree who got $2900 for my basic 2-year Chevron life policy. I'm not complaining or propagating spam. Just doing everyone a public service.

Get money for your life insurance policy before deciding to cancel it. Coventry Direct and other reputable life settlement companies listed on LISA.org will NEVER ask anyone for money up front. Conduct your own due diligence before giving up your policy.

I would not go to this Covetry rip-off company if you paid me. They are a bunch of losers and the people who troll on this thread are losers too. I can't believe the troll on here who keeps advising people to go to these losers after he got his clock cleaned as evidenced clearly by the other settlements that people got. Do they Covet thy neighbors wife too, or just steal your money?

@H1H1pQ0-jnjl, You poor little SPAMMED Asshurt baby. You are a total loser and were SCAMMED by the above SPAM and cannot own up to it. You can say I'm with whatever company or corporation or insurance agency or go on and on forever until you're blue in the face. You can't even make up good lies. You have been SPAMMED DOUCHE-BAG and are afraid to admit it. That is SO LAME!!!

@jnqd, don't pretend to be anyone else. We know you're the same old HR/MetLife troll.

Everyone, please consult www.lisa.org for a long list of reputable life settlement providers. You'll notice Coventry is in the top companies. Check out 3 or 4 to see who will offer you the best deal.

See @jnqd? Rather than mislead the people, give them some information they can profit by.

You know, I need to get in on this life Insurance deal. However, after reading these posts there's no way that I'm going with the company mentioned above. There are a few examples cited below and proof that you can get a better deal than with the above posted company, who mysteriously got through the spam filter. The only one supporting this company is one troll, obviously the same person, with buyers remorse.

Caveat Emptor.

Who is crying and bitching, @iwwe? Not me. Looks like you are the only one. I made money selling my free basic 2-year Chevron Life Insurance before I cancelled it. Got my $2900. I'm happy with that. Everyone should checkout what they can get. See the OP's post.

Oh, so the little wussie entitled dipshit "sophomoric and immature" ranting SPAM pusher is one and the same as the pseudo-intellectual wannabe with the thin skin who is too PC to accept terms that he doesn't like but will let you use the ones he does like only, to ensure that his little pink rosebud doesn't get tickled? OOOOOoh - I feel so bad for you and the $2900 that you accepted for your $6795 easy cash policy(like I negotiated) even if you accepted the lowest offer and had the minimal policy with a year or more of service at CVX. That's so bad that you fell for SPAM. Go cry now little thin skinned sophomoric and immature butthurt deadwood loser BAYBAY!!!!!!!

@H1H1pQ0-isyp, you got your A$$ reamed by the SPAM company referenced above you poor little POS butthurt baby. You are just determined to peddle this SCAM as being legit instead of the SPAM operation that it is, and I simply won't let you do it and you never will. As many posters have stated below, this outfit is a low-rent, rip-off flea-bag operation. You were SCAMMED. Deal with it.

Quit being a troll for HR and MetLife, ivfw. Your sophomoric and immature rant tells everyone not to take you seriously. Is yelling spam all you got?

I made money selling my basic 2-year Chevron life insurance policy after being laid off instead of cancelling it and walking away with nothing. Others can do the same. This worthless troll would rather see you screw yourself by walking away before checking it out.

Yes, @H1H1pQ0-iesl, you are correct, sir. This poor pitiful SPAMMED SOB who fell for the SCAM in the Original Post above is hell-bent on making up lies about you being with HR, etc. That's a tired old line that I see on many threads. I think that he is ashamed that he was raped up his butthurt little SPAMMED rectum. I imagine that it is mighty SORE by now since he knows that he could have gotten so much more for his valuable policy from elsewhere.

I can feel your pain, @-isia, and your poor little reamed butthurt a_s_s.

SPAM-BOY - @H1H1pQ0-iqnp - Seriously , HR and Metlife? Is that what you got? I mean - as an alternative to the SPAM above. So - Your argument is that I am either a Chevron HR(Human Resources) employee or that I work for or am pushing Metlife? That' sounds like the typical online snappy comeback like "Oh those HR trolls" or whatever. How pathetic and lame. That's really creative @H1H1pQ0-iqnp. You really put so much effort into your snappy smart-A$$ comeback. Well, sorry for your financial loss and I work for neither company. and the outfit mentioned above is SPAM and are trying to rip people off. The truth will set you free, buddy. There's no need for other people to suffer as you did from your poor decision making. Thanks for being the sacrificial lamb and succumbing to this predatory SCAM so that others do not have to.

Then all this is not useless spam like you have been saying, asswipe. I may not have shopped around, but others can. Thanks for admitting you were wrong once and for all, gtuh.

At least I got $2900 instead of nothing. I'm happy with that.

evif, my sister in law is in the insurance business. She doesn't deal with life settlements, but is familiar with the competitive amounts most pay to buyout life policies. When I gave her your age, assuming you are a man in average health and an estimate of your pay, she thinks you were underpaid. She said $3700 to $4300 may have been possible.

Yes @-egle, you are correct, typically any type of advertising such as the above is considered SPAM on a site like this. I can't believe they can get away with it without being flagged as Spam- like you posted.

Post ID: @figr+H1H1pQ0

Well I feel bad for you, but I would rather not rub salt in the wound. You made your decision to go with whoever you wanted to and if you feel good about it, that's all that counts. Good luck to you. I see a lot of posts about this being spam and I don't know about spam but it's not who I would choose and I don't see where they get off advertising on this site, and that's what some would consider spam in itself. It is generally not allowed on the internet on any public forum, anywhere. It is typically automatically censored out by the system and they change the name to blanks, ____, * or whatever.

I'm the poster who got $2900 for my basic 2-year annualized salary life policy, the one that Chevron gives every employee for free (not he supplemental insurance one pays extra for). I was let go last year at 58 years of age and at PSG 21. I knew about life settlements before I was let go and checked around a little. The same company the OP mentioned is the one I used. Coincidentally, they were running TV ads at the time. I'm not sure if I could have received a better deal, but I can't complain. I was days from deciding to cancel it with MetLife after having received a letter from them to continue it, but at a high premium.
