I am so glad I left this mess behind. Why work somewhere where people have 2 faces eh PW?

Just the opposite, 157361. If you don't care about the work you're doing at Target, YOU need to leave. If you're working 9-4 I don't begrudge you your severance payout, just take it and go. The days of phoning it in or delegating everything you'll take credit for in you leadership status to someone three paygrades below you are over. The fat in the middle needs to go.

Just quit being so attached put in your 9-4 and go home or find a job you can be passionate about. Both Target and Best Buy have been destroyed by leaders who treat there people like dirt. So why do you care, if the job is personal for you it is time to go. It is judt a job not who you are.

157185, so in 14 years you've undoubtedly left some messes and caused some snarky responses from successors....or maybe you are that one perfect person we all hope to find one day. Stfu.

I agree that 156825 is correct - at least for a portion of the people I've worked with over the past 14 years at Target. People like to blame whoever was in the job before them for doing a crappy job and leaving things in a mess - once you hear that from then a few times you know they are going to be the guy who NEVER goes the extra mile, who is always going to whine and say ''that's not my job" even if others on his team provide great service/partnership - the excellent workers are fodder for ego-salving snarky talk at the happy hours (what fools to give a sh*t, right?). Let's just put some energy into working out of our short comings. If you can't buy into that, leave.

You know those mango fruit drinks are loaded with artificial sweetners and such, not fitting into our wellness campaign for you. Got some SunSweet Prune juice for you though. JK

I would like to state that 156965 does not speak for HQ and is only expressing their own singular opinion about stores.

I feel it necessary to state that we at HQ do not share the sentiment of 156947 towards the stores. His/Her comments are utterly ridiculous. I highly doubt 156947 is even a TM and suggest IGNORE.

Don't forget the several thousand guests a day coming through the doors who may not always be happy. It's a walk in the park. Just like sitting in a cube all day.

156941, at least you admit you are just a babysitter, that is progress. Next we will work on aligning your pay to that responsibility.

Cute! Try babysitting over 200 children who all think they should be the CEO and get back to us on how overpaid an STL is.

STL on down leaders in stores are just glorified and overpaid babysitters. You don't make any significant decisions that will ever impact the future.

156825 is absolutely spot on. So much of what is said on this board reeks of entitlement and a complete lack of ownership. You are Target! BC will come and go as will JM etc. Get your job done, make your tools work. Don't complain about a free concert.

"The reality is" Target MN is a reflection of the passive aggressive smile to your face stab you in the back zero accountability culture. I've been with TGT for over 26 years in 7 states Ive never seen so many people who expect more than they give, take more than they deserve and complain the entire time that someone else is responsible for their situation. That's the reality.....

The reality is mr Cornell has destroyed what existed at target. Which may have been good. But neither he or mulligan(I really don't want to step up guy) have ability to build it back up.

Come on TTS weenies your SH!T is in the wind. We walked stores in the metro today, one of the analysts tried to use Cartwheel at the self check out.... It wanted to know if she didn't want to bag it..... Nothing to see here!

It was the quietest FNM I've been too, applause was given grudgingly (except stores team razzing TTS teams at Brian's urging) and lots of people never standing. I need Gregg, Kathee, Doug, Beth, Terry, et al back. Otherwise I'll stay home next year.

The CEO and COO got meeting off to rocky start with negative vibe and it kept going downhill from there. Agreed Imagine Dragons kicked it.

I didn't need to be taken to woodshed at FNM. JM comment that no high fives allowed says it all about our current leadership. Send us an email next year and save some money.

First FNM where the CEO took pot shots at portions of his team. Way to build enthusiasm and motivate the team BC. I'm pumped for nothing, you blew your chance.

I hope they know more areas than just stores need a major overhaul and investment in WORKABLE technology. All of my departments systems are not stable and we make calls to the CSC daily. What was up with Stacia's dress?! Nice person, but I now question her being in charge of apparel.
