Just remember it’s not a reflection on you. It’s purely tactical approach taken by leadership to cover up for poorly thought decisions to save severance costs and hire for solving regulatory issues. Your self worth, potential and talent does not reduce with these poor approaches.

The layoffs are needed to pay for all of the compliance fines and also to make sure Jane gets her pay increase. Gotta have that you know. So given that, it’s ok if the little people suffer.
To the OP Post ID: @OP+1udt8Fiu Yeah right. Don't take it personally. Try saying that to the mortgage servicer, Landlords, credit card companies, medical bills, car loans, auto insurance companies, grocery stores etc..
You can't help but take it personally. It's easy to say don't take it personally but for someone who has been through it, that's all you do is take it personally.
Nah. The share price is in the toilet. It was in the high $70s back in 2017! Now it’s even worse. This bank is not producing value. A multi-year series of firings has destroyed morale. They can’t get rid of Banamex. Meantime you have a CEO who is taking millions!
where are you seeing share price in toilet. its going up and up. lets not go for comparative view with other bank but if we see from 2023 sep (from when layoff started) it has only improved. whatever fines regulator/risk/consent order nothing affect share price of citi.
OBVIOUSLY! You’ve just described a perfect scapegoat or victim! Like comforting someone who’s been the victim of crime!
You’ll note that the managers of this company are all still the same. None of them are losing their jobs. It means that nothing will really change. Just buys them time hence a multi-year lay off which ludicrously expects employees to be loyal and happy!
Meanwhile, the share price is in the toilet. No improvement at all!
That's little consolation to those who now have no income and can't find employment because of the cr-ppy job situation. At least now we have the illusion of Kamal A riding to the rescue with her promise of freedom, love, and kumbaya. Wake up you woke binary units
