Plenty of you hate Intel, we get it. Since that's the case, why don't you stop wasting your life here and find a better job that pays more and has better benefits and culture and whatever else you're looking for? Leave Intel to those of us who actually want to be here.

Even if your resume happens to clear the initial AI scan, realize you might be going for jobs that are;
1 -Hiring contractors to reduce benefits . Even if job was advertised as an actual corporate position in some cases.
2 -Limping by on old equipment .
3 - Pushing AI without having a clue how to do it .
4- Looking for cheap help
For me It's a celebration to come here and watch it all burn to the ground. I enjoy the comments that are the SAME thing I had been telling leadership for years and years. Finally a place where I can sit and enjoy and say I TOLD YOU SO and boy was I right!

"Smart people don't work for their company, they work for their family and lifestyle."
I take a bow to you sir/madam! I am close to 20 years in my career, it took me about 5 years to realize this golden rule. Sadly, some people don't realize this entire life.
Office should be a small part of a bigger/larger life. But for some office rats, office is the center of universe. Their boss is their God and they are devoted to God more than their wife, kids, gf/bf or even themselves.
Secondly, office should be a means to provide for sustenance. No more no less. Never give more than a certain part of your time to office. Companies fcking do not care about your fitness levels.
OP is either a (1) overzealous fresher too eager to please his/her/their boss (2) Asian/Indian. This breed loves servitude of highest order. They suffer from acute social ineptitude and consequently they thrive on hearing good words from their bosses. Cringe.
OP is high or a lower graded, young person who has no clue. In some areas, like Oregon, Intel's pay and benefits were superior to other companies. Smart people don't work for their company, they work for their family and lifestyle. Its ok to hate the company you work for and the work you do if its meeting other needs. Now with all the cuts to benefits, Intel is going to have a much harder time holding on to quality folks and it will only be slaves to the blue like the OP is.
@myd, It's you're, not your. Another exaple of "Intel Flunky Education".
Do you have any recommendations of where else technicians can go & get paid $80K to go on break, watch YouTube and write safety good catches?
@OP - each one of those who you are calling out; were "you" at one point of time... after all they joined Intel at some point of time with hopes and dreams.
Your turn will come..
Well, it's part of the grieving process for some of us who gave all to Intel, to be blindsided by the separation of accounting that caused the first crash, and then the disastrous Q2 results, despite seeing compensation return and false optimistic outlooks by leaders.
What motivates you to keep coming back to the layoff OP or should I call you STOP HAVING FUN guy? It’s not like this is Circuit+. Y’all almost have a high degree of purity on Circuit+ these days (and that’s a good thing)
Lay off them all to stop waste their life at Intel
Your all next.
People wasted their life at layoff why do you waste your life at Intel ?
Why motivates you to stay at Intel OP?
Amen brother
