I tracked my SVP calendar and they just got a new HR meeting set for Monday. Upvote if my team is F’ed

Yes EVPs in Paramount tech left around first waze.
I think it's 15 percent total US not across each division - some divisions have been cut by 60 percent -NICK

I think we are looking at 1000 jobs T across Streaming and Paramount Tech
EVP and above must be staying or given option of stepping down if the news is a hint of that
SVP must know by today or Monday
The press release months ago said 15% across the board, so I am sure that all SVPs are going to be in HR meetings on Monday to get on the same page with the HR process, any severance details, Cobra Insurance, equipment returned, etc.
Like everyone else, I've heard rumors, that the SVPs, not HR, are going to be making the calls.
Hopefully, the choices of who is getting laid off was because all those in the pool to pick from where individually reviewed for their abilities and fit with the company, because they knew the staff personally. I've seen plenty of layoffs where someone in HR must have been grabbing random names from a hat. Hard workers who kept the department running and picking up the slack from some team members got cut. Those who were not providing the company or department any value, and we all know at least one, were all that remained after the dust cleared.

How you able to found its HR meeting that got newly added ? Is your SVP calendar shared to see meeting details ?
You would feel a lot worse if you didn't know layoffs were coming. Trust me! I've been a part of surprise layoffs a few times. It su-ks a lot worse than knowing the day it is possible. At least you can prepare mentally.
Monday is not the cut day so they will likely be talking about the actions they have to do on Tuesday. I am sure VH is losing a few people under him. Everyone is....
This is so ridiculous. Seriously there has got to be a better way to find out in a timely manner if you're getting axed or not. Why all the fu--ing mystery? Jesus I'll never understand this. It's like being in an abusive relationship.
