I would be curious to know the metrics on the layoffs to-date (i.e. age, ethnicity, etc by country). Is this information public? There were a few 50+ yr olds in the March layoffs. Too young to retire/too old for the job market.
Citi hasn’t let go any H1b’s. It could be one more reason to sue.
Define the class.
Would you mind saying which locales- even just continents? Assume USA, but any in European Union or UK for example?
Hey OP - to answer your question, no I haven't heard of any lawsuits in NY, but know about any other locales

Studies are showing that companies with a good DEI rating aren’t very profitable.
DEI is diversity, equity and inclusion. Its good and legal.
However, Citi is hiring lots of Indian/Asians women candidates in name of DEI. In reality, this is not providing equal opportunities to other communities. This can be questioned by law.
"Citi is holding good in terms of DEI"
isn't DEI illegal
Yes it is group filing against unlawful termination practices or employment contracts.
Do you know what a class action lawsuit is? Asking for a friend.
I don't think you can take any action / lawsuit except claiming vendor, h1b favoritism or diversity.
- For vendor you have to prove your manager is from same vendor and has significant number of employees or consultants from same vendor.
- For H1B, you can claim that the "Speciality Operation" employees are turned to "Managers" which they shouldn't be.
- Citi is holding good in terms of DEI
Remember, Citi protects itself in terms of regulations and compliance and its very hard to sue them.
