Thread regarding Optum layoffs

The name of this site is TheLayoff not TheBonus..

Can we please use this platform for information on Layoffs and not bonuses! The talk of bonus is overwhelming the talk of Layoffs. And can we please tell what area of UHG/Optum is affected with layoffs.

Grade 29 here. Bonuses have been 20-25k. Same with my peers in the same grade that I talk to. Expecting less this year on par with the reduction in awards for my team.

Equity is not available to grade 28 and target bonus for 28 is 10%. RRP funding has been low so 25k seems improbable. I'm calling g BS.

Maybe compensation transparency is a good thing. I’m a grade 28, my last RRP was 25k and stocks which I’ve heard is rare to award. I’ve scored 5’s in past 13 reviews.

There is such a range in salaries in the same grade. I have a team of 10 27’s and their salaries range from 70k to 90k a year. So an RRP if 1-4% can be so varied depending on salary. In dollars, my team’s bonus will be from 1-4500k with merits paltry at barely 1-2%. Some are not getting any merit at all.

Probably 3-4% this time.

@OP The way I see it, decrease (or stagnation) in salaries and bonuses is directly connected to quite-firing, low morale, more attrition - a layoff issue indeed.
I get that you might see it differently, but trying to shut down the whole chatter, when you can always skip the topic you dislike or downvote it is a little bit hush.
