#21 - Mental health is of utmost importance. I've been retrenched before. The biggest challenge, apart from the financial aspect, was the mentally taxing and daunting task of job searching and interviewing. Going through the humbling experience of facing occasional haughty interviewers who are years younger than you and feeling rejection from multiple applications... I hated that phase in my life. Practice self-care and always remember your self-worth.
