Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Sad

It’s so sad to see this going on. Seems like the trend is to keep the ones on payroll who have the lowest salaries on teams to keep things still going till some plans dissolve fully. Meanwhile it’ll continue to go downward as they retained the most unqualified and inexperienced to keep things afloat until it all hits the fan.

Unless you are at the bottom and have multiple layers of management above you. In those cases, it does seem possible to have more experienced people get the bad news.

“No one wants aging workers”- let’s start from the top cutting aging workers.. how about your own family “aging workers”? Or you are one of those “entitled” offspring from a wealthy family never need to work?

What is sad about it? Every company does this. No company wants an aging workforce.
