I doubt it. Broadcom is Google Workspace, not O365.
I could see them giving us a BC address and Google account. I think it will take time for the transition. I would also expect vmware.com email addresses will move and still exist for a period of time.

Every group will be effected, some more than others. If you group is competing with a multi-national support org, I’d be especially concerned.
Half the staff don't program.
And it's not just programmers and support.
There's a whole lot going on between coding and successful order completion in multiple languages around the globe.
Stop the scare tactics.
If you have to fire over half the staff, would you fire those who write the private source code base or those that support the product, which is something big companies like HCL handle.
You can argue over how bad the service from HCL is as compared to our current staff, but that doesn’t matter as history has shown us.
The big axe is coming, chop chop chop.
Doubtful, as someone else stated, the broadcom software org will rebrand as VMware
“ In 2018, after Broadcom’s acquisition of CA Technologies, Broadcom and HCLTech announced a global preferred services partnership which led to the creation of Enterprise Studio by HCLTech.”

Lather, rinse, repeat…
If you're in PS it will become @HCL.COM
No

...I don't think you will have to worry about your email address after 11/1.
Will my business card and head shot change on November 1?
I don’t care. Mine is changing to Gmail ;)
Very likely: everyone moved over to broadcom.com. vmware.com will continue as an email alias to continue receiving emails. Outgoing emails will be broadcom.
Broadcom's first round of layoffs is cutting 15,000 jobs. Apparently, fewer employees will simplify the process of configuring those new email addresses.
Will remain the same
How else would our customers keep in contact with us
TikTok
Yes it will, to “user not found”
Why should they even change it? Broadcom will rebrand its software group as VMware.
Firstly this is such a numpty question.!! And surprised for someone in IT who hasn’t heard of email aliasing.
Secondly to answer seriously, i would expect two email addresses original VMware one will continue for a while along with a new BC one. How else would our customers keep in contact with us.
