My 9 year career with Globalfoundries has come to an end. Leaving the semiconductor industry all together. Entering the pharmaceutical industry with a company that rhymes with Schmereneron. 😂 They are currently hiring for the “new” facility, if anyone is interested. I will miss the people I worked with but will not miss GF. For the past 9 years I’ve watched GF just progressively get worse. I’ve seen good employees with years of experience get laid off or quit. I’ve watched GF reap profits while the CEO filled his pockets and then turn around a cry poverty when it comes to raises for its employees. I saw close to 250 people lose their job after two straight quarters of record profits. I had enough of watching TC invest and expand in Europe, India and Asia while stagnating any growth in the US operations. Anyway, good luck to all of you. I hope things turn around for you guys.

It is so bad in GF that no one really cares about anyone’s coming or going anymore. People who are here are known to be incompetent or staying due to their own personal reasons or individuals who could not get job outside or need stay in GF due to immigration reasons.

Attrition data is meanness if you have eyes. Just look around, all the empty cubicles and no, everyone is not working remote.
I see hardworking people trying to keep busy, the challenge is gone. There are no more puzzles to solve, leading to the departure of the best and brightest, they were bored.
Regeneron, like all dr-g companies who feed off the misfortune of the sick, are very profitable but generous to their employees.
Agree completely with OP. GlobalFoundries lands a Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell) at the moment given its downward earnings revisions. GlobalFoundries also earns an “F” grade for Value and a “D” for Momentum in Style Scores system .
It might be best for investors to look beyond GlobalFoundries right now to some of the many other semiconductor stocks that are currently sitting at Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buys) or #2 (Buys).
Great post! I would argue outside people and investors are starting to really take note too. The biggest mistake GF leadership made was going public in that their antics and tricks now have a shelf life and people are catching on. Prior when private they continue this bullsh-t and shenanigans behind the curtain in perpetuity. But now it’s open comodo - so now light is shine on all the shadowy shady dark areas and everyone who wants to dig can get a look and piece together what’s really going on. It’s also apparent that GF leadership didn’t really take this into account when going public. It appears they thought they could continue with business as usual. Which highlights just how inept they are to how things work in the real world.

@OP, you are spot on, the execs are padding their pockets while the rest of us can't even get a raise because we are told we are paid well according to some BS salary bands that our useless HR and Compensation teams make up!! The attrition is growing exponentially, however, HR won't share the data, instead they do a 4 year average to make the data look better than it is, the HR puppet lady showed this. Let's show the year-to-year comparison of attrition including folks laid off and see what that trend shows. HR won't show this data because they know the story will be a very concerning one to those of us left. Anyhow, at this point I have no plans of working hard, will put in very minimal effort, get a paycheck and ride out my time hoping I can get a good layoff package in the future but until then I'll enjoy life by working a minimal number of hours and collecting full pay. My management has no idea what each of us does anyhow, total id--ts, just send some emails later at night and the mo--ns will think we are working hard.
They are here to get rumor news (the purpose of this site), not listen to adults whine, cry, throw temper tantrums, and post fake posts about how good they have it elsewhere, but still frequent this board, with GF living rent free in their heads.
