Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Come work at the pharmacy - you won’t ever get laid off.

Hey guys if you ever need a job. Let me know. We’re hiring for flu season. We’re also customer facing. Sorry that was too soon.

Love store colleagues on here saying it’s karma when they act like they had no idea retail is miserable and there are no hours lolllll.

Going into a CVS just to pick up a prescription is like the gates of he-l opening. You wait in line 20 minutes only to be told your RX is not ready because they are ridiculously understaffed. Annoying AF. Work there??? Hard pass.

Until they close the store permanently which seems to be oddly common

@hob+1nYJqkFt Having to travel to multiple stores just to get hours is actually part of the problem.

There are always hours to pick up at another store that has a call out or no shows. Pharmacy technician turnover rates are faster you flipped a pancake. So there are hours available if you do your due diligence. Just remember COVID testing+vaccines is what was the surplus for this company in financials. I agree with the karma catching up. Glad you found it funny other the other post. But it's true.

"Not entirely true about never get laid off if you work in a pharmacy.

Between hours cuts and low pay and store closings, they won't have to lay you off, you'll leave of your own accord. Right now hours are very tight and I don't expect them to change anytime soon. Plus payroll is even tighter than hours. So figure it out."

Corporate snobs would never work in a store. The karma is finally catching up to them with the layoffs.
