I think 3 years ago it was 25000, so basically CA hired 25K folks for nothing.
And Hock Tan said, he can run this company with 10000 employees.

There are companies with smaller product offerings, much lower revenues/profits employing higher number of highly paid engineers.
Mindnumbingly stupid post.
QCOM is losing a talented pool of engineers and that’s what’s gonna hurt the company in the long run.
Also, @OP Stop with the HT d**k riding already.
CA won’t resign, he came from Brazil, Qualcomm believes in diversity and inclusion!
CA needs to resign....now!
QCOM could probably be run with 10K Americans or with 50K Indians. That’s the equivalent talent ratio.
It was 37K in 2019. Now its 51k. Around 40% increase in 4 years. 10% yoy growth is not much. Hock Tan will run with 10K but it won't be the same company.
Most new hires were in inndia.
Again with Hock Tan. Broadcom will never be anything but a rejected suitor.
Move on! Get over it.
Stop trolling QCOM.
We are sad. We are losing talented people. Our people are hurting.
Show some class. Go troll Facebook.
It could be.
Tech companies have been hiring like crazy in the past couple years. Not because they really need all those hiring but for two absurd reasons:
- To anticipate brighter future which did not happen in the timeframe that they expected
- To prevent those ppl to be hired by competitor.
