What have I learned from this forum?
When someone says something positive and remotely intelligent about Teradata, this group is quick to denounce and downvote them, and claim thay are hr or ELT - even if the individual explicitly states multiple times they are not (did you really read that post, and believe that is something that NC would actually say? He doesn't even talk like that!)
When someone claims that the worthless ELT is just milking this place for paychecks, there is often someone else that comes along and says "that is why we should quiet quit!". Hello pot, my name is kettle!
When someone says that the management at taradata has no clue what they are doing, there is usually a comment or thread about the same time highlighting a clear lack of understanding how the market works, how trading works, or how valuation is determined
When someone claims that the new product is too little too late, or that RG is a conman, there is always someone to come along and gloriously state he was our savior, and the team that worked on it knew exactly what they were doing but were the victims of an ignorant leadership team
When someone posts a random childhood rhyme, or a movie quote, which could be interpreted as the demise of Teradata, it will be heavily upvoted, All while emotionally bashing the place that obviously still holds a significant amount of weight in their everyday lives
What have I learned from this forum? That it is endless supposition, with very little fact, evidence or experience, but chock full of emotional lash outs that really don't help anybody in the end. ....and it is entertaining and fascinating
