Give the keys to the people who know exactly where the useless management is. Most management is just getting in the way; completely useless. When my Dir or Sr Dir are on vaca, productivity soars! They have zero self awareness when they hold 3 hour meetings delegating pointless tasks while the ADs are trying to keep their teams functioning.

I have always thought like this wether it is management or just people in your immediate group. The people you work with in your group know the exact person who should be let go first. I have seen many times the wrong person let go before others should have been. If there was input from fellow workers then most of thee time the right choice would have been made. Most of the time it's obvious but somehow the wrong choice is made.
@OP: "all" the ADs, specifically within the enterprise's IT organizations, are useless, lazy and have no clue(s) to the effective functioning of an empowered team to meet C-Suite objectives.
Directly, remove and "RIF" all the ADs working at the Temple Terrace, FL, and Irving, Tx, locations, immediately.
