Let us lay our pitchforks down for a second against one another. It was never the same after all that. It was never that serious either. The guy sent a few salacious texts, gets BOOTED from the firm and we all got punished for his indiscretions. EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE FTE OR FTS plagued with sensitivity and smexualharrassment training. Thats when we all started turning our back on each other. The finger pointing led us directly to DEI which only further divided us. SO silly. Bunch of silly gooses were all being.

Yea, sounded like a BS claim. The accuser was his then fiancee's roommate. And she was a dog. Dude has an intelligent, beautiful woman and he's se-----y harassing a mutt? Probably just an off-color joke that triggered the jealous Karen.
@jy i think its a bit of a sarcastic/hyperbolized post tbh… probably not in the most productive way… but it did happen, and it was annoying lol!

I just would like to say this is not a reflection on his wife she is fabulous, smart & accomplished PM in her own right. Funny enough, it’s not even a reflection on Gavin. He was swiftly fired. And the press went with it. They are happy and moved on — he runs his own hedge fund now in the city.
The accuser went to press further because she claimed to be blackballed in the industry for reporting the incident. Hard to prove, but i believe her. Blackballing might be a stretch, but it’s not easy to get hired when your name is running in press and small circles in the industry. Im sure there was a settlement somewhere given the evidence of the texts. Three sides to every story, and in this case probably 4 or 5 sides with all the news, HR etc.

After that we were all inundated with the worst types of training, just to go back and argue with eachother at our desks over what transpired in those sessions. It went way past the scandal, and way broader of an issue with Me Too around that time period.
