Lead us not into another reorg
But deliver us from badge swipe naughty list reports

Though we walk through the valley of 100% RTO we shall fear no casual collisions

Who cares? Abby is a known liar as she’s proven with layoffs and RTO. I won’t pay attention to anything she says, as how can I trust a word of it?

@OP oh thank goodness, what a credible trustworthy declaration for us all to accept without doubt. Dear Abby, hallowed be thy name!

@aj It's so true. After that November memo, leaders said there would be a skills-based realignment, with people moving between business and tech. We were told everyone would have a role and a choice in new structure.
It was a complete lie. I wish they were more honest and straightforward so we wouldn't have been caught so off guard by this which seemed entirely on a single parameter - role title. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially so many SLs had moved from engineering previously ..

@dr Agreed! The moment I realized I was being way underpaid from my peers in the role was when I took the attitude of fine, you don't want to pay me monetarily then I will get paid back in time and effort. No more ki-ling myself to be a production leader on the team, and all the other nonsense like having to take on extra projects or whatever to check "leadership" on the team box. What a crock! Just a way to squeeze more out of the associates.

These billionaires all pretend they care about society and donate strategically to causes for tax write offs. If I had 47 billion I would give at least one of those billions to eradicate homelessness in the state or make an impact on addiction. There is a moral imperative to help society. Instead she’s squeezing her workers and reducing the flexibility which ultimately hurts women who are taking care of their families. They think our discontent is only short term. I am quietly rebelling is subtle ways - not trying my hardest and not sharing information. I don’t need to work toward the elusive EP, I just need to do enough to not get fired. It’s not that I’m lazy, I just don’t care. I’ll wear my 15 pieces of flare and collect my paycheck. The above and beyond has stopped. And I’m not doing any of that recognition central nonsense recognizing others contributions because that just makes them think that morale is good and that people are trying. Quiet quitting…

Hmm thats kind of reassuring, I know a lot of people were wanting at least some sort of confidence in their jobs back. I appreciate abby bringing it up during the report, still su-ks for those impacted
