He's been on the Blackwater board for 6 or 7 years, and in October he'll be done with that "one-year consulting" thing they said he'd be doing. Plus he's still on the VZ board, right?
He has no interest in coming back, he's just along for the ride now. Sitting back, laughing at the dumpster fire, and collecting the free loot.
Heck no. Liars and cheaters that did next to no work, were paid well it, and had zero gratitude or humility finally got the boot thanks to Dan. Sadly, many great workers were also impacted which is a shame. Vz needed to get serious about true performance management which is why headcount was so bloated it the first place. This could have all been handled with a multi year attrition strategy and properly organizing the company in the first place. Instead, they gave us red chairs and dj parties.
Thanks for asking. I can be the first to get to 6 yeees even if there is no use case identified to justify 60B+ spend.
