Are majority of the layoffs in India ? Are they not planning to lay off any managers, directors, VPs in US ?

The package is as good as any that the industry has put out there. Id--ts looking for a windfall are the same ones sitting around doing nothing all day but fooling their selves as to how much they are worth (laid off = $0).
It's split between Q4 & Q1, $1B/4000-ish total. $250k/employee is their standard figure.
Should be a bunch in SJ
they rather keep the folks in India, way cheaper

3-5 months of severance. Bonus. Stock payout (doesn’t really count) and benefits for 2-3 months.
