Eisp come at end of year, 3rd or 4th quarter, every year but its usually only select jobs/locations/titles.
I been told it’s cheaper to keep her is the old saying .
Associates/Union or company is not begging as If people are being let go would you not be jnterested in a package? I Really dont understand the hate towards the associates. I work with good and bad on both sides. You have to remember that the company sold out or forced a lot of people years ago to the union. It was you have like you have 30 days to sign letter to become an associate, find another position in the company or find another job. For most it worked out for the better is my understanding.
@OP i heard Timing tied to quarterly-ends and eisp if any will be sudden and of course targeted now. There was a freeze in place so we shall see what this next qt brings. Right now a big budget crunch. As we lean towards the fiber and wireless end of the business more workforce restructuring will happen. A lot of the workforce is already lean from past reductions (central office Phila area}.So if youre a cotech doubtful as network transformation projects are going on now.
for outside
Verizon is aggressively phasing out copper
If you’re in a market where landlines are dying and install and trouble tickets slow then an eisp is possible. either or no string evidence of an EISP at this time.
Wow! Whats it been ,like 3 days since the last union begging post!
