Hey fellow Vteamers! I am really proud of us for completing our Google AI professional certificates and posting about it on LinkedIn for attention and praise. It’s a monumental achievement in showing to the world that we play to win by completing another company’s training materials! When my kids bring home their participation awards, I show them my AI certificates and we celebrate our accomplishments together. AI unlocks EI and makes us amazing humans. This will save us from layoff risk and differentiate us as superstar thought leaders. Yay team!!!!

@OP Love the sarcasm, but honestly, even if the badges feel a bit like "gold stars," the shift is real. For those of us not in dev roles, AI literacy isn't about becoming a tech wizard; it’s just the new baseline for staying relevant, like learning Excel back in the day. It’s better to understand the tools now than to be left figuring out the basics when the work environment moves on without us. Keeping the toolkit updated is never a bad move. But yes those posting in LinkedIn are a bit south of the silly side.
All the people posting their AI cert completions during unlock week… how do y’all have time to go through the course? Also, from what I’ve gone through thus far - it’s rudimentary skills that anyone who’s spent a day playing with and reading about LLMs would know
