Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

The bears never thought the stock touch 58

Surprised at all he bearish comments on here still. Been about a year since the $17 low. None of the naysayers thought the stock could possibly 3x in under a year. Too bad for all those who panic sold under $20.

I sold my stock at 20 ten years ago and invested it with my broker, which is now worth 10x.
So, yeah I sold and made much more than the su-kers that held on for 20 years just to brake even.

I asked my dog about Intel stock and he stepped back growling crazily. I asked him what about the bears thought on stocks and he looked away sitting down quietly.

@j2
the stock market is not even remotely attached to reality
it is way to scam others (including the tax payer through the FED) for money

Fake layoff numbers, fake financial reports without any auditing, fake products and fake news can make stock move 🙄

@d7 it took a few months if you ignore the last 5 years of 80 hour work weeks, new technologies, new tool installs/upgrades, yield improvements…. This has been building for years. You are just ignorant.

@ca really? Panther lake fake? Capacity constrained can't produce enough products to sell fake? Improving earnings and yields fake? You sound like Reuters. Try harder.

@d7 many large companies, some of the largest actually crapped out and recovered. Ibm, Ge, amd, apple, Microsoft, Nvidia...all the major oil companies...

You're ignoring inflation. 300B market cap in 2000 was worth a lot more than 300B market cap today.

Intel will be worth over half a trillion within 2 years. My fear is that a lot of companies will be worth well over half a trillion in 5 years.

This is a big financial scam OP. Think about it this way

How long did it take for INTC to reach $60 per share after its first IPO?
More than > 50 years of continue hard working and innovations by a lot lot lot of people build billions dollars company

How long did it take for INTC from $17 to reach $58 per share ?
Just a few months. Not even a year. This is an evident of big financial scam in stock history by someone just pushing a switch. He/she will hit the switch to dump it down again after getting all the profits and money from you.

I left in 2023 (retired) and still have a good stash of stock that I got from when intel bought the stock at a discount (-15). Let it ride, I'm in for the long haul.

well, Intel can keep on saying things to boost stock and manipulate market, but it has not delivered much. It will delay Musk's Terafab for many years and it seems the CEO is boasting without semiconductor manufacturing knowledge.

You waste on your cash and tax dollar on this failing crime enterprise partnership. When it were kicked out from the DOW earlier how the criminals brought it back ? Unless it ripped off early investores about fake layoff numbers and financial loss to crash down to $17 and bought back later to profit. Does that make any sense?
