Three hours round trip, every day. I need this job, so I put up with everything RTO has brought. It's pointless, costly, and drains my time and energy. But with so few alternatives, I don't have much choice. Not once did I expect leadership to reconsider. They know most of us are cornered, and they're counting on it.

Blah blah I really enjoy coming into the office for the free delicious coffee and the new still water. I also have met many colleagues and solved a few problems around the water cooler.
It will take a few write ups to get fired, then you'll get unemployment while you look for a new job at a different company that actually respects you
What amplifies the pain and true toll on each of us is that we know, they know, we all know that many jobs can be efficiently, productively accomplished remotely with less stress since many of us did exactly that for the last number of years.
It is due to a lack of trust and any other financially motivated reasons that force this all day as--ult and stress on all five senses, especially being forced to sit in an open office plan environment RTO/5.

When you accept a job you review the costs before signing. Simply as this.
